Thank you Susan for sending in the poppy appeal information.

Poppy Sales start from 28th October thru 10th November at the Port and at the Airport.  Also various hotels and other places will have collecting tins available – please give generously.  This will culminate in the Remembrance Service at Holy Trinity on 13th November which will be followed by a lunch in aid of the Poppy Fund.

The RBL will hold a Christmas Lunch on 17th December at The Royal Savoy:

The next event is a lunch and will not be a buffet, so the price is a little higher €35 per person which does include everything (drinks:  Sparkling Wine Brut, Aliança and the Savoy selection of White and Red Wines, soft drinks and mineral water):
