The Porto Santo Ferry, Lobo Marinho, suffered a malfunction to one of its engines during its trip to Porto Santo this morning. The ferry was just past Canical when the incident happened. The ferry carried on its journey on one engine, making it a much slower trip for the 131 passengers on board. Sea conditions were also rougher than usual with the bad weather the island has been experiencing, making it an uncomfortable journey.
A team from Porto Santo Line tried to repair the engine, as it sailed towards Porto Santo.
Becky kindly sent me a couple of photos, she was 1 of the unlucky 131 on board.
