The fire that broke out on Monday morning in the Fontainhas area, in the mountains of the municipality of Câmara de Lobos, in western Madeira, has an active front, local fire source said.
According to the information, it remains “an active front, in a place inaccessible to firefighters”.
The fire is not “threatening people or property” and the lack of wind at the site should allow for water combat “soon”.
According to the same source, two vehicles are on the ground, one for surveillance and another for support.
