From midday today running through to 6pm on Sunday, Madeira is under a yellow warning for high temperatures.
All the North Coast, South coast and Porto Santo, have this alert in place, and we could see a top temperature of 30 degrees in Funchal.
On to the hurricane Ophelia, which is now a category 2 hurricane, this will pass closer to the Azores, with weather warnings already in place, and then heading for the UK.
Madeira will suffer from the tail end of this storm, and it looks like Monday and Tuesday will be the worse days, and we could see some heavy rain.
These images are taken from weather sites and show the possible rainfall over these days.
I will update the blog over the next few days, and there will no doubt be more weather warnings given out, and this could also cause problems or the airport Monday nd Tuesday.
