Rain, wind and sea turmoil have placed the Madeira Archipelago under yellow warning from this afternoon until tomorrow.
According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), in Madeira there is rain forecast for the mountainous regions until noon tomorrow, where the wind should blow strong northwest with gusts that can reach 100 km / H.
In the South Coast, there will be a northeast wind in the order of 75 km, until 15 o’clock tomorrow, with the North Coast also in the ‘yellow’ with rain until noon on Tuesday. The wind will also blow north up to 15 hours, with gusts in the order of 75 km / h, with prediction of sea agitation with waves of northeast that could reach 5 meters in this same period.
In Porto Santo, the yellow warning will also remain until tomorrow, with forecast of precipitation until 12 o’clock, northeast wind gusting 75 km / h until 3 o’clock and northeast waves that can reach 4,5 meters.
This will probably cause more problems at the airport tomorrow.
