Last year, the initiative toured all the parishes of the county and allowed to vaccinate about 700 animals. The new campaign will also cover all parishes in Funchal and does not present any costs to the holders of domestic dogs, including vaccination, placement of the chip and registration of their animals.
The campaign begins this Saturday in Santa Luzia (Centro de Convívio) and São Roque (Miradouro). Next Saturday, February 24, it will be in São Martinho, Monte and Santo António.
The prophylaxis campaign 2018 runs until March 10, and it is necessary to be resident in the parish to benefit from it. The CMF therefore recommends that all municipalities make a pre-registration in their Town Council. Taken from JM
