It’s another windy day, and already this morning two flights have diverted back to mainland, and the early Porto flight cancelled for the second morning.
This story below was RTP yesterday.
Some airlines could consider not flying to Madeira if the frequency of difficulties of operation at the airport is maintained. The revelation was made by Bernardo Trindade, non-executive director of TAP and former secretary of state for tourism, to the program “Conversa Política” of Antena 1.
Bernardo Trindade argues that the current model of air mobility is not great, and is representing an increase of charges for the State, without benefits for the Madeirans.
