This is what the Navy and lifeboat was up to earlier today..

The Navy and Maritime Authority, in conjunction with the Regional Civil Protection Service and the Madeiran Association for Relief in the Sea – SANAS Madeira, today conducted a search and rescue exercise off the island of Madeira.

The simulacrum counted on the commitment of the ship of Marinho to NRP Douro attributed to the naval device of the Command of the Maritime Zone of Madeira, of the lifeboat ISN SR40, of the relief device of the Captaincy of the Port of Funchal, and also with the saved vessels (Salvador do Mar and Atlântico 101), in accordance with the protocol of cooperation between the Navy, the National Maritime Authority and the Madeiran Association for Relief at Sea and in compliance with the Integrated Maritime Rescue Plan of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
