A cleaning operation is taking place in Praia Formosa with the collaboration of 55 military personnel. The initiative is part of the intervention process in that bathing structure affected by the recent storms and whose preparation for the summer season requires immediate intervention.
During the day, the cleaning operations carried out by the Frente Mar, which manages the bathing complexes, are being carried out with the collaboration of 55 soldiers. “A valuable help from the army that aims to restore quickly to normality one of the most frequented beaches in the parish of São Martinho and one of the most important in the region and which was recently hit by the storm that devastated all of Madeira, causing damage to various infrastructures public, in particular along the coast “, explains a note sent to the media.
This initiative aims to restore the image of this bathing area even before next week, ie in time for Easter holidays. The Town Council of São Martinho, joining this day of cleaning operations in one of the most important areas of the parish, will carry out during the afternoon a snack among all those involved in the work.
