According to forecasts by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), this Thursday, the sky should show periods of very cloudy, and it can be verified the occurrence of weak showers, especially in the north slopes and uplands.
At the highest peaks of the island of Madeira these may be snow until early in the morning.
The wind will blow moderately (20 to 35 km / h) from the northwest, blowing temporarily strong (up to 40 km / h) in the highlands.
A slight drop in temperature is expected. With the minimum around 14 degrees in Madeira and 13 degrees in Porto Santo.
Relative to the state of the sea, on the North coast, waves of the northwest are expected with 3 to 4 meters. On the south coast, these will be from the southwest with 1.5 to 2.5 meters.
The temperature of the sea water will be around 17ºC.
