Two foreign tourists fell at around 14:00 hours on Thursday – in Levada da Boaventura. They both suffered injuries and were rescued by the Volunteer Fire-fighters of São Vicente and Porto Moniz.
In question was an elderly woman in her 70s who complained of an injury to her leg, and a man in his 30s who complained of an arm injury.
Nine elements of the corporation, some of them from the Mountain Rescue Team responded, helping the wounded and transported them to the hospital after having passed through the urgencies of the São Vicente Health Centre.
