Today should be a much better day at the airport, the wind has died down, but there are thousands of passengers trying to get to and from the Island.
Police yesterday were called to the Transavia counter at the airport, where tempers were fraying. Passengers had already had a huge delay before yesterday, and with the flight cancelled once again, passengers were told there was no possibility of getting off the island until May. One passenger was leaving to attend a funeral, which was now impossible to get back for. Transavia also told their passengers that they would have to bear the cost of staying in the region themselves.
