A 16-year-old Spanish tourist was only recently rescued and rescued from a tourist boat carrying a sea

After the young woman felt ill and became unconscious, the alert was given to SANAS who soon informed the MRSC Funchal, who coordinated the whole request for help.

When the SANAS team arrived, the girl was already conscious, but she appeared to be very confused. She was rescued on board and transported ashore in the tourist area at the Reis Magos jetty in Caniço, where an ambulance from the Municipal Fire-fighters of Santa Cruz (BMSC) was waiting to be transported to the emergency room of Dr. Nèlio Mendonça hospital.

The rescue was coordinated by the Captain of the Port of Funchal, Paulo Silva Ribeiro, MRSC Funchal, Regional Service of Civil Protection (SRPC), in articulations with SANAS Madeira and fire-fighters. EMIR was accompanying the rescue, always in contact with SANAS teams and fire-fighters.
