The Vive La Vie yacht is due to arrive at around 4:00 pm at the port of Funchal today. The Marine Traffic website reports that the ship landed on June 14 at the port of Machico around 7:30 p.m., after leaving Porto Santo just before 5:00 p.m. It is not yet known when he will leave, only Gibraltar will have the port of destination next.

The owner is Willy Michel, a Swiss entrepreneur and founder of Ypsomed Selfcare Solutions, a company that develops and manufactures injection and infusion systems for self-medication and is a specialist in diabetes with over 30 years of experience.

The luxury vessel was built in 2008 in Germany by the company Lurssen Werft, designed by Espen Oeino and interior design by Art-Line Interiors. The super yacht, with a length of about 60 meters and with capacity to accommodate up to 12 people and 12 crew, will have cost close to 70 million euros.

In Vive la Vie flies the flag of the Cayman Islands, a British overseas territory located in the Caribbean Sea, where it is registered.

The yacht is intended for private use and is not available for hire.
