Do not get to excited yet, this is another offering from Super Break, who I mentioned the other day, that will fly from Humberside. These seem to be over priced one off packages, with a whole experience included, it might be great for first time visitors, but you would be better off coming on your own steam, and saving a few hundred euros. Colin also commented that there is one in November from Durham Tees Valley.
Super Break has announced the launch of a brand-new flight to Madeira: Funchal and the Islands.
The new chartered service will offer a direct flight so that passengers can enjoy a winter sun break.
It is the third chartered flight service to launch from the Welsh capital by Super Break, following the success of its annual Northern Iceland programme and Seville breaks.
The holiday to Madeira – an island which is a territory of Portugal but near the coast of Africa – includes a full-day escorted panoramic island tour, covering the east and west of the island, along with a 24-hour hop-on hop-off Funchal City sightseeing bus tour.
tarting from £799 per person, and bookable with a £49 deposit, the break will initially depart in November 2018 and include:
- 7 nights’ accommodation in a 4* or above hotel including breakfast
- Return flights from Cardiff airport with convenient flight times and 20kgs hold luggage included
- Transfers to and from Funchal airport
- Two sightseeing tours
Cardiff Airport’s Commercial Director, Spencer Birns, said: “This exciting break from Super Break will connect our airport with Madeira directly and allow the opportunity for customers to fully immerse themselves in the culture that the island of Madeira holds. Following the success of its Iceland charters, we and are sure this break too will be a popular choice for Welsh holidaymakers looking to escape to some winter sun.”
