Flight TP1691, which was connecting Lisbon and Funchal, due to start at 9:50 pm yesterday, was cancelled, for reasons that were not clarified to the DN by the company.
About 30 children, between 9 and 10 years old, were returning from their flight, after a study visit in which they visited several cities of the continent with their teachers.
Asked by DN, TAP source said that the capacity of the flight TP1693, with departure from Lisbon at 11:10 pm, which will operate on an Airbus A321, with more seats, “thus transporting part of the passengers of flight TP1691″ was reinforced, the remaining passengers will all be on tomorrow’s flights. ”
The airline concluded that it “is committed, as always, to finding the right solutions to protect and care for its customers, scrupulously complying with all national and international regulations and legislation applicable to passenger air transport.”
Still on the issues raised by DN regarding passenger follow-up, the company did not leave any kind of clarification.
