The pair of deaf-mute Germans lost in Encumeada’s Path were found at around two o’clock in the morning near the Rosemary Ground at the top of Encumeada.
It was thanks to GPS coordinates transmitted through a tablet to the relief teams that tourists were spotted. The man already presented signs of hypothermia and was transported to the hospital by the Volunteer Fire-fighters of Ribeira Brava.
