A 70-year-old man travelling from Venezuela to Funchal got lost in Lisbon Airport.
The story is now advanced by Correio da Manhã, which reports that a 70-year-old man with Alzheimer’s was missing for more than 24 hours, after landing at Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon, where he was scheduled to fly to Funchal, at the end of a flight from Caracas.
According to reports in the morning, the family will have requested a trip with assistance, and accuses to TAP of not having watched the man. The airline, however, claims that only one wheelchair was requested between the two flights and that the passenger left the plane and the airport by their own means.
José Nunes was later found by GNR on Tuesday morning in Bucelas, sitting under a tree, more than 20 kilometers from the airport.
