If you still have doubts about the utility of sinking end-of-life ships off the coast, this video recorded last August will certainly dispel them altogether.

The sinking of Madeirense and Corvette General Pereira D’Eça, carried out on October 21, 2000 and July 13, 2016, respectively, helped to create authentic sanctuaries for the marine life near the coast of the Golden Island, constituting the same time an attraction of great value by tourist and even scientific point of view.

This video was shared this Monday on the YouTube social network and is the most up-to-date record of the status of the two artificial reefs created with those vessels.
