The Madeira Promotion Association will be present at the Dive Show Dive Show, which will take place on October 27 and 28 in Birmingham, UK. This will be the first institutional presence of the destination, in what is considered the biggest event in the United Kingdom, as far as Diving is concerned.

A new edition of the Dive Show has been organized over the last 25 years by the UK’s leading Diving magazine “DIVER”. This event brings together in the same space some of the main international players associated with this nautical activity, including specialized averages, reference destinations, equipment brands, marine protection and conservation organizations, tour operators, travel agents, among other stakeholder groups related to the activity.
Madeira and Porto Santo will be represented with a Stand of Destiny, where visitors will be able to collect all kinds of information related to the practice of Diving in the archipelago. For this purpose, three dive centers with technical knowledge about the activity will be present at the Stand of Madeira and, therefore, qualified to provide any kind of clarification.
According to the study of the online demand for tourism by Madeira “Digital Demand”, diving is one of the most digitally researched specific products, with emphasis on the German and British market, so this presence also comes against the results obtained in this investigation. As early as 2019, Madeira will also be present in Düsseldorf, at the BOOT fair, considered one of the largest exhibitions in the world of nautical activities.
This action is also part of Madeira’s communication strategy as a rejuvenated destination, for the whole year, and directed to active tourism, presenting a diversified offer on land, sea and air.
