The November issue of National Geographic magazine features a report on the seals of Madeira.
The work now published addresses 30 years of research on the most elusive marine mammal in Portugal and announces the project LIFE Madeira Lobo-marine.
“In thirty years, the investigation with the most elusive marine mammal of the Portuguese territory advanced extraordinarily. Monk seals are now a much better-known treasure. “This is how the article in the National Geographic’s Wide Angle section of November begins, says a note from the Institute for Forests and Nature Conservation published on Facebook.
