The Transavia plane (flight HV6330), which left Madeira International Airport Cristiano Ronaldo bound for Amsterdam at 10.25 am, crashed its tail on the runway during take off.

According to the communication office of the Dutch airline, this was the reason why the aircraft landed in emergency at Faro Airport, thus diverting from the initial route.

The company explained that due to this incident the aircraft could not fly above 10 thousand feet and could only reach a speed of 250 knots, having to be subjected to an inspection at the nearest airport, where it landed at 12:51 p.m.
