The descent of the temperature made it feel, this dawn, in the Region, registering even -0.1 degrees in the Pico do Areeiro. However, the absence of precipitation meant that snow has not yet fallen on the highest points of Madeira, something that may still occur today.
According to the IPMA forecast, periods of overcast sky are expected, with the occurrence of showers, more frequent in the northern slopes and highlands, which may be snow on the highest points of the island of Madeira. The wind should blow mild to moderate (10 to 30 km / h) from the northwest, and there should be a slight drop in temperature.
As for the state of the sea, on the North Coast, the waves will be from the northwest with 2 to 3 meters, while on the South Coast will be from the southwest with 1 to 1.5 meters.
I have just had a look at the webcam while doing this post and it could well have started snowing a little
