According to forecasts by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) for Madeira, on Monday, December 24, the sky will be very cloudy (high clouds until early in the morning), but the highlight is the strong wind that will be felt in the Region this Christmas Eve.

It should be recalled that the Madeira Archipelago is now under yellow warning, which should run until 12 noon today in Porto Santo and South Coast of the island of Madeira, extending until 12 o’clock tomorrow (25 December), in mountainous areas.

The wind will blow moderately to strong (30 to 45 km / h) from the south quadrant with gusts up to 75 km / h, especially until late in the morning, and being strong (40 to 55 km / h), gusting to 110 km / h, in the Highlands.
