An ordinance was published today in the Official Gazette of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM), which authorises the distribution of the budgetary expenses related to the acquisition of services in view of the Elaboration of Projects for the Extension of the Jetty of the Port, and Pier 8 of the Port of Funchal, (you know, the one that has never been used)

This project will cost approximately 378,000 euros, plus 22% IVA, that is in total a sum of around 462,000 euros to expand Molhe da Pontinha and Pier 8 do Porto do Funchal.

This amount will come from the private administrative budget of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (APRAM), and “this ordinance will immediately enter into force”, with the authorisation of the Vice-President of the Regional Government, Pedro Calado.

Program for the Coastal Coast of Madeira (POCMAD) with 409 thousand euros excluding IVA

Also published today in JORAM was the authorisation for the “allocation of budgetary charges for the acquisition of services for the elaboration of the Program for the Coastal Zone of Madeira (POCMAD)”, at the attention of the Regional Government, through its Vice-President , Pedro Calado, and the Regional Secretary for Environment and Natural Resources, Susana Prada.

It was thus defined that between 2019 and 2020 will be included in the Regional Budget a sum of 102 thousand euros for this economic year and 307 thousand euros for the next year for POCMAD, in an overall amount of 409 thousand euros, excluding IVA (22% ). If we count this tax, the final total to be spent will be 499 thousand euros.

“The amount needed for the economic years 2019 and 2020 will be entered in the respective proposals of the budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for each year”.
