An ordinance was published today in the Official Gazette of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM), which authorises the distribution of the budgetary expenses related to the acquisition of services in view of the Elaboration of Projects for the Extension of the Jetty of the Port, and Pier 8 of the Port of Funchal, (you know, the one that has never been used)
This project will cost approximately 378,000 euros, plus 22% IVA, that is in total a sum of around 462,000 euros to expand Molhe da Pontinha and Pier 8 do Porto do Funchal.
This amount will come from the private administrative budget of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (APRAM), and “this ordinance will immediately enter into force”, with the authorisation of the Vice-President of the Regional Government, Pedro Calado.

“The amount needed for the economic years 2019 and 2020 will be entered in the respective proposals of the budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for each year”.
