The day of carnival will be wet in Madeira. The predictions of the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) point to tomorrow, Tuesday of carnival, rain, usually weak, starting in the morning, increasing in intensity in the late afternoon. It means that the revellers of the bumbling procession can expect a wet afternoon, the procession starts at 4pm.
The cloud begins to increase today, March 4, with forecasts of heavy cloudiness, heavy rain and wind that prompted a yellow warning for the precipitation between 6 pm and midnight on Tuesday 5th March and another for the strong wind between 6 pm and 3 o’clock in the morning of Wednesday.
The strong sea waves will also be in the yellow for 24 hours, from 6am Tuesday to 6am Wednesday.
