The guide on the tour bus which crashed in Caniço last Wednesday shared a note on her Facebook to thank all for the care she received from both the hospital and the government.
The Funchal News reproduces the message of Carlota Mendes Gomes.
“After another surgery, and still recovering from it, I thank all for the messages of concern about my clinical condition.
I would like to point out to the fire and civil protection team (which I have already had the opportunity to thank in private) as well as the other health professionals that I have had the opportunity to thank for having helped in my recovery.
In the Hospital, thanks to all the health professionals from the emergency department, the operating room, the intensive care, my “angels” of the intermediate care (which make my days more easy). To orthopedics (primary intervention) and plastic surgery that operated on me yesterday.
I would also like to thank the kindness of having been visited by several political leaders including Professor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and today by Dr. Miguel Albuquerque and Dr. Pedro Calado. Thank you for your concern.
I apologise for not being able to name all that I have come to visit and still very important thank you Family, Friends and Company Travel One.
