The Captaincy of the Port of Funchal issued a warning of strong wind and sea turmoil, in force until 06h00 on Saturday.
According to the warning, the wind will blow from the northeast, between 27 to 35km / h and 36 to 44km / h, sometimes being strong (from 45 to 54km / h).
On the north coast, the waves can reach two to three meters, decreasing to 1.5 to 2.5 meters. Already on the south coast, the waves will be between 1 to 1.5 meters.
The Captaincy therefore recommends that shipowners or shipowners take the necessary precautions so that they remain in ports of refuge.
