Cíntia Raquel Araújo is the young lady who died this morning in an accident in Portugal, it was first reported a young man had lost his life.
One woman died and three minor injuries are the result of an accident in the variant of National Road 342, in the municipality of Miranda do Corvo, local fire department Lusa told the agency.
According to the commander of the corporation, Cíntia Raquel Araújo the victim was a resident from Camacha, and the three ither wounded are young people all from the island of Madeira, who were travelling in a rented car going to Serra da Lousã to watch the Rally of Portugal, whose stages are held today in Lousã, Góis and Arganil.
The accident involved a tractor with a trailer loaded with wood, which hit the light vehicle on a sharp curve in the area of the Cervajota, between Miranda do Corvo and Lamas, where there is an access node to Freeway 13.
The District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) of Coimbra told the agency Lusa that the alert for the accident was given at 07:41.
In the place were the Volunteer Firefighters of Miranda do Corvo with 10 operational and four vehicles, in addition to a team of Medical Emergency Vehicle and Reanimation (VMER).
The road is cut between Miranda do Corvo and Lamas.
