The Coal Wharf will replace this Sunday, September 29, the cultural program that was scheduled for last week and had to be canceled due to bad weather.
The beginning of the concerts is thus scheduled for 18:30, with the performance of Tiago Sena Silva, who will present acoustic versions of some of the songs that influenced him most, from light Portuguese music to timeless soul classics, including contemporary pop music. . Accompanying him will be on stage Vítor Abreu on guitar and also on voice, Gonçalo Faria de Sousa on bass and Bernardo Rodrigues on percussion.
On 20h, the performance of Akoustic Junkies, a pop / rock band that plays both covers and original songs, formed in 2012 and is composed by Duarte Ferreira (voice), Hugo Vieira (acoustic guitar), Marco. Panama (drums), Pedro Pereira (bass) and Roberto Vasconcelos (acoustic and electric guitar).
In 2013, the band won the first NOS Summer Opening band competition, distinguishing itself for making tributes to grunge queen bands such as Pearl Jam and Nirvana. Already this year, the Akoustic Junkies have released new original themes, which they have been presenting at various public events.
Finally, at 21h, the event ends with the performance of DUL, who created the concert from scratch, including pop, rock, blues and even Portuguese popular music. The band consists of Sandra Branco on vocals, rhythm and melodic guitar, Fábio Gomes on keys, Bruno Rodrigues on bass, Fábio Menezes on solo guitar, and José Pereira on drums.
The venue, as usual on show days, will be open to the public from 2 pm, with a fair selling handcrafted products that will be attended by the Association of Cerebral Palsy of Madeira and various entrepreneurs and artisans, such as Tabaibo and Mint, Vilhoa Craft Beer, Lulu Brigadeiros Gourmet, The Crazy Wizard and Claudia Teixeira Design.
