The watercolorist Sara Santos opens today, Tuesday, at 5 pm, a new exhibition in Porto Santo, integrated in the celebrations of the ‘600 Years’, which will be attended by the President of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque.

The new collection, entitled ‘Details of Porto Santo’, consists of 30 watercolors, inspired by the island that the painter calls ‘paradise’, a place where she always seeks the tranquility and force of nature, whether from the sea or land.

The paintings will be exhibited in the lobby of the Paços do Concelho building, as well as 70 illustrations from the 2014, 2015 and 2017 collections, so the exhibition will be divided into two wings.

In all, there are 100 images of the ‘Golden Island’.
