Following the three electoral acts held in Madeira in 2019, the Socialist Party claims to be committed to “the superior interest of the Region above any other interest.”
The guarantee is from the deputy Paulo Cafôfo, in statements after the PS-Madeira interparliamentary meeting, which took place this Saturday.
At the meeting between the members of the parliamentary groups of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira and the Assembly of the Republic and MEP Sara Cerdas, decisions were taken to have the “Madeira problems solved”.
One of these priblems regarding the issue of mobility allowance, Cafôfo emphasises that it needs changes and that the PS will work to regulate the change that will make the Madeirans and Portasantenses stop paying the travel price, paying only the resident value.
The deputy believes that this change could happen early next year, after the approval of the State Budget.
