The port of Funchal is crowded this morning. There are four ships in the seas of the Region, one of which, the Zenith, is at anchor and will dock after 13h00, after the departure of MSC Poesia.
The arrival of the 400-berth, 180-crew Berlin is expected to arrive, which will also dock after the departure of Zenith at 5 pm.
First to arrive was Mein Schiff 3 last night. Coming from Las Palmas, it has 2337 passengers and 993 crew on board. Overnight again in the Region and set sail tomorrow at 2:00 pm for the island of La Palma. Nice to see this ship staying for two nights.
MSC Poetry is on a transatlantic voyage. Coming from Lisbon, with 2338 passengers and 943 crew members, departs at 1 pm, heading to the city of Fortaleza, Brazil.
Zenith has been founded as planned over a year ago, according to information provided by APRAM through Facebook. The vessel arrived from Tenerife with 924 passengers and 574 crew. At 17h00, continue trip back to Canary Islands.
For its part, AIDAstella came from Las Palmas with 2130 passengers and 622 crew and is sailing early tomorrow at 8 am to the island of Lanzarote.
The port of Funchal today receives a total of more than 11 thousand people (11,441), including passengers and crew.
