Madeira continues only with an active case of Covid-19, according to the newsletter released this afternoon by the Institute of Health Administration (IASAÚDE). This patient lives in Câmara de Lobos and is in isolation, housed in a hotel, “without the need for hospital care”.
It should be recalled that the Region has so far accounted for 90 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, with 89 already recovered.
IASAÚDE said that a total of 1,543 notifications of suspected cases of Covid-19 were recorded in RAM, of which 1,453 were not confirmed.
In total, there are 1,103 people accompanied by the health authorities of the various counties in the Region, 439 people under active surveillance and 664 in self-surveillance.
The total number of services provided by the IASAÚDE psychological support line (tel. 291212399) is now 1,340, with 142 people being monitored by the Institute’s professionals. The SRS24 Line contacts (tel. 800242420) total, to date, 8,587.
Regarding other tests for COVID-19 screening, the total of samples processed at the SESARAM Clinical Pathology Laboratory now reaches 19,735. The number of test target users is 17,768.
