Firefighters and the helicopter are fighting a fire that seems, for now, of some seriousness.
Ground and air crews are on site. A forest fire broke out recently in the Picos area, in Prazeres, on the west end of the island of Madeiravthis Friday, and is being fought by the local fire brigade, the helicopter and the helitransported Civil Protection team, at a time when the wind seems to be hindering fire-fighting operations.
