With no physical facilities since 2017, Germany’s diplomatic representation in Madeira opens its doors again, at the Concordia Building, in Amparo.
Tourism businessman Sérgio Filipe Correia Sousa will be the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, succeeding Ricardo Dumont dos Santos, who held the position for two decades.
The inauguration ceremony will take place next Thursday, at 6:30 pm, at São Tiago Fort and will be attended by the German ambassador, Martin Ney.
