The Judiciary Police identified and detained two men, aged 48 and 30, caught in the act, for the alleged practice of the crime of drug trafficking.
The individuals were detained at Madeira Airport and in the city of Funchal, and an amount of heroin that could correspond to approximately 23,200 individual doses was seized.
The detainees will be present to the competent Judicial Authorities, for first interrogation and application of coercive measures considered appropriate.
