This year, Bordal – Bordados da Madeira holds the fifth edition of the exhibition ‘Christmas Tables with Madeira Embroidery’ in the store/factory, at Rua Dr. Fernão Ornelas, in Funchal. “In view of the difficult times that we have all lived, Bordal decided to open the factory and store to the general public to carry out this initiative side by side with the production of Madeira Embroidery”, explains the organization.
To this end, he challenged three designers to decorate his table, which has been participating in the initiative since the first edition, which dates back to 2016. It will then be possible to admire three tables: in the store decorated by Lília and João Paulo Gomes, in the design/stamping area decorated by Nini Andrade Silva and in the washing/ironing area decorated by Dino Gonçalves.
The exhibition will be open to the public from December 4th to January 6th.
