MADEIRA CLASSICAL ORCHESTRA PERFORMS TOMORROW AT THE HENRIQUE AND FRANCISCO FRANCO MUSEUM

Another chance for a concert tomorrow evening. Blog readers went to the one at Belmond Reids last night which I advertised, but were put of by the “Stodgy” Attitude of the staff there, so I won’t recommend anything there again in the future.

Hope some of you can enjoy the one below.

The Henrique and Francisco Franco Museum will host tomorrow, at 7 pm, the performance of the Madeira Classical Orchestra.

“An improbable proposal by musicians with classical education this Friday at the Henrique and Francisco Franco Museum, in a partnership that honors us with the Funchal City Council”, says Norberto Gomes, artistic director, in a note sent to the newsrooms.

With an original proposal by double bass player Gábor Bolba, this musical moment that usually has the percussionists of the Classical Orchestra of Madeira, Duarte Santos and Jorge Garcia, tomorrow will have the special participation of Tatiana Martins in the bassoon.

“With a mix of improvisation and experimentalism, all these musical moments are unique in terms of format, sounds and content, packing the audience into unique experiences, the result of enjoying new and unexpected atmospheres of rhythmic and sound ambiences”, he concludes.
