A woman aged 80 died today at Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, victim of covid-19.
According to a note from the Regional Health and Civil Protection Service, the woman, who suffered from several underlying conditions, had been hospitalized in the Multipurpose Unit dedicated to the covid-19 since last December 6, having died at 6 pm this Thursday.
The Regional Health Service offers condolences “to the bereaved family”.
