Firefighters and the Forestry Police recently found the two tourists who were lost in the mountains, in the Levada between Pico Ruivo and Curral das Freiras.
A rescue and rescue team from Câmara de Lobos Firefighters entered from the side of the Curral, while the Forest Police and a team of Santana firefighters entered through Pico Ruivo.
The tourists were found by the rescue team of Câmara de Lobos, which is waiting for the arrival of the other operatives to carry out the wounded to the road, an operation that should take a few hours.
The other tourist is unharmed.
