Mother of Madeiran stylist Fátima Lopes dies of Covid-19

The mother of the Madeiran stylist Fátima Lopes passed away this morning at the Central Hospital of Funchal, victim of Covid-19, according to what was found from the Diário Notícias from a source close to the family.

Lurdes Lopes, 91, had been hospitalized at Lar Vila Assunção in São Gonçalo for several years due to a chronic neurodegenerative disease. On 15 December she was diagnosed with Covid-19. Because her state of health needed special care, she was eventually admitted to the Central Hospital of Funchal.

The Stylist from the Continent was already on holiday in Madeira to follow the state of her mother’s health.
