In the last 24 hours, 15,765 atmospheric electrical discharges, lightning strikes, were recorded in Madeira. In the set of strikes, 9265 were negative signal discharges, 6,500 positive signal discharges. This time there were no cloud-to-ground discharges.
It should be noted that of the strikes, practically all were over the sea and Desertas.
The thunder certainly woke me 3 times in the night and the rain was non stop for hours.
