Câmara de Lobos is already a municipality in ‘Extreme Risk’

Madeira has, as of today, a municipality in ‘Extreme Risk’, according to the criteria of the General Directorate of Health (DGS). Câmara de Lobos reached, in the previous 14 days, more than 960 new cases of infection with coronavirus per 100 thousand inhabitants.

There are currently 339 active cases in Câmara de Lobos. Our municipality is currently at the Extremely High-Risk level for COVID-19.
We appeal once again to everyone who scrupulously abides by the health authority’s instructions, appealed the council of Câmara de Lobos.

This is the maximum level of risk defined internationally, and the Region currently has seven municipalities above the moderate level of risk.

At ‘Very High’ levels are Funchal, Santa Cruz, and Porto Santo, and with ‘High’ level are Machico, Ribeira Brava, and Porto Moniz.
