The Madeira Promotion Association and ITAKA Lithuania joined forces for the resumption of tourism and this union resulted in the Vilnius – Funchal air link, which starts on March 23rd and runs until October 2021.
The island destination is a strong route of ITAKA, tour operator, after the success registered last year with the resumption of the Polish market, through the Warsaw – Funchal route. A weekly flight with a capacity to carry 189 passengers is expected to arrive on the island.
The Vilnius – Funchal connection, in partnership with Itaka Lithuania, is the first major operation that we are carrying out and which will prove that Madeira is the destination of choice for 2021.
