A 32-week pregnant woman who is infected with coronavirus at the Eiras site, in Caniço, recently had worsening of symptoms and had to be transported from her home to the hospital.
The transport to the Multidisciplinary Unit of Covid-19 at the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital took place around 2 pm this Monday and was carried out by the Team dedicated to Covid-19 of the Madeiran Voluntary Firefighters.
