This Monday, March 1st, 38 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection are reported in the Region, according to the epidemiological bulletin released by the Regional Health Directorate.
All cases reported today are locally transmitted, most of them already associated with positive case contacts. Epidemiological investigations are ongoing.
There are 123 more recovered cases to report. RAM now counts 6,031 recovered cases from the disease.
To date, there have been a total of 64 deaths associated with covid-19 in Madeira.
There are now 1,181 active cases in RAM, of which 25 are imported and 1,156 are locally transmitted.
