Today Pingo Doce started selling self-tests to Covid-19 in its Bem Estar spaces, located inside its stores, in Madeira, according to the company, in a press release.
Available in six spaces, they are sold individually and cost € 4.99.
Self-tests were developed so the user themselves can do them, in a simple and fast way in their homes. The results are obtained between 15 to 30 minutes.
“After masks and gel alcohol, Pingo Doce takes the lead in providing essential products to fight the pandemic, now extending its offer to the self-testing of Antigen rapid tests for Covid detection 19”, says Rita Cardoso , commercial director of the Wellness area, at Pingo Doce.
The same source recalls that “until last week these tests were only available on the market for use by health professionals, having been allowed to be sold to the public after the publication of Ordinance No. 56 in Diário da República, on March 12, 2021 “.
