The concert by the British band ‘The Dire Straits Experience’, promoted by Maktub, in partnership with the Calheta City Council and the Savoy Signature, and with the support of JM, was postponed to June 11, 2022.
The postponement was once again due to the current epidemiological context. “The promoter’s decision, in coordination with the Savoy Signature and the Municipality of Calheta, meets the recommendations of the General Directorate of Health and is fully valued by NOS Madeira, whose priority is to guarantee the safety and protection of all, before a scenario of universal insecurity and public health. This decision is based on the same assumptions that, last year, postponed the concert from 2020 to 2021 ”, explains a note sent to the newsroom.
The organization further explains that the tickets already purchased for this concert ‘will also be valid for the new date. Once the state of emergency and all its extensions have passed, the new poster line-up will be communicated and the sale of physical tickets will resume. For more information see: www.ticketline.pt
It is recalled that this initiative will take place in Praia do Calhau, in Calheta, within the scope of the shows ‘NOS Introda’, and has the partnership of JM, which will continue in 2022.
