Today Madeira has registered a significant increase in new cases of covid-19, counting 39 more, albeit with 21 people reported as recovered.
This is a case imported from the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region and 38 cases of local transmission.
The Region now has 250 active cases with 203 cases in study.
